COMPETENCIES
• Co-ordinate and manage the Company's projects in a thorough, competent and professional manner and with all reasonable diligence and expedience.
• Advice and information in relation to the establishment, design, construction and operating stages of the project to achieve economic and technically sound and expeditious and safe completion of the project in accordance with the subcontract agreement.
• Respond to any matter in connection with the project which may be of concern to the head contractor and to that end attend all meetings and conferences as required by the head contractor;
• Interviewing and assessment of candidates as consultants and subcontractors.
• Prepare Client Subcontractor subcontracts and agreements necessary or desirable for the construction of the works;
• Review of the design of the project with a view to minimising the costs of the works in a manner consistent with Client's objectives in respect of the project
• Ensure the building works can be installed safely
• Review and recommend all tenders for the project
• Arrange for the subcontractor to commence construction of the works as soon as practicable following execution of the subcontract agreement and receipt of all necessary approvals;
• Establishment and revision of administrative management and budgeting procedures in respect of the works
• Prepare cash flow forecasts
• Planning, preparation, review and revision of construction schedules in respect of the works;
• Prepare and manage suitable systems for ongoing cost management
• Administration of the subcontract agreement including preparation of progress claims and checking and verifying subcontract claims
• Ensure that all subcontractors engaged on site perform their work in a safe manner.

DARREN
Began career in 1986 in the façade Design and Construction industry as a draftsperson in Melbourne Australia.
My 30 years extensive experience has seen me involved in every facet of the façade building and Construction industry including Tendering, Contract Management, Design, Procurement, Glass and façade materials, Project Management, Site Management, Construction Management and General Company Management.
I have had key roles in hundreds of monumental highrise commercial and residential buildings throughout Australia predominantly the Melbourne CBD.
My career both past and present has taken me overseas to work on both the design and construction of projects such as Skytower – Auckland, New Zealand through to currently being involved in the procurement and management of façade materials from China.
